Lafayette Laundromat is Detroit's largest laundromat, open in Lafayette Park for over a decade and family-owned since 2020. Nearly 100 washers and dryers across 5,000 square feet mean you're not waiting on a machine, even on a Saturday afternoon. Eight extra-large washers, four 60 lb and four 80 lb, take comforters, mattress pads, and bedding that won't fit at home. We're fully attended every hour we're open, 8 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, so there's always someone on the floor to help. Pay with cash, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Cash EBT. No quarters, ever. And parking is never the problem: we share a plaza with Dollar General and Lafayette Foods, so there are hundreds of spaces right outside.
